UPDATE (1/28/2013): We have changed the time of the event to not conflict with the Super Bowl, or any parties ya'll are headed to.
When: Sunday, February 3rd @ 12:30 p.m.
Where: 4908 Sunny Acres Lane. Take a left onto Sunny Acres (just past Stocks Drive). You will pass a light yellow mobile home on the left almost immediately, and then a small dirt lot where 2 horses hang out. Take a left onto the gravel driveway right after these landmarks (this will bring you to a cul-de-sac with four houses); it will be the first house on the right. If you go through a large, concrete dip in the road you have gone too far.
What: We will be voting on an official Club Name, talking about brewing, and drinking tasty beverages. Please bring a beverage to share.
Who: Everyone - enthusiasts, brewers, vintners, mead-erists, novices, those who are interested in getting into home beverage crafting.
So the group decided on a name. The consensus at the meeting was that we should be called The Wild Bunch:Brewers, Vintners & Bootleggers. A bit of a mouth full, but it seems to capture the spirit of what we are about.
ReplyDeleteThe first formal act of The Wild Bunch was to drink beer. The second formal act of The Wild Bunch was to plan to drink more beer. The third formal act of The Wild Bunch was to plan to brew more beer, which we will do the first Sunday of March. It was also decided that we will brew a Kolsch.
